It's not often you get a live mixed martial arts (MMA) event that's longer than your average workday, but then again, not every event can be like the FieLDS year-end supershow in Japan.
2011 will be no exception, as Genki Desu Ka!! will kick off from the Saitama Super Arena with nine straight hours of MMA action beginning this Friday night (Dec. 30) at 10 p.m. ET on HDNet.
The event, headlined by a heavyweight bout between Fedor Emelianenko and Satoshi Ishii, will feature a mixture of MMA, K-1, and pro wrestling bouts.
In short, there's a little something for everyone.
