UFC on FUEL TV adds Philip De Fries vs Stipe Miocic and Ivan Menjivar vs John Albert for Feb. 15 in Omaha

The UFC on FUEL TV fight card continues to take shape as Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently made a pair of bouts official for the network telecast on Feb. 15, 2012, live from CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

UFC.com has it:

"Undefeated heavyweights will collide as verbal agreements are in for 8-0 Phil De Fries versus 7-0 Stipe Miocic on February 15 in Omaha, Nebraska," said UFC President Dana White. Bantamweight contender, Ivan "The Pride of El Salvador" Menjivar will be squaring off with last season's Ultimate Fighter alumni, John "Prince" Albert.

Philip De Fries vs. Stipe Miocic will likely set the wheels in motion for one of these two up-and-coming 265-pounders, who could add some much needed depth to a division short on future contenders.

Ivan Menjivar vs. John Albert will likely do the same for the bantamweight division, one that may need some fresh blood after Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber settle their differences early next year.

Here is the current UFC on FUEL TV fight card and line-up:

170 lbs.: Diego Sanchez vs. Jake Ellenberger
265 lbs.: Stefan Struve vs. Dave Herman
145 lbs.: Jonathan Brookins vs. Rani Yahya
185 lbs.: Aaron Simpson vs. Ronny Markes
265 lbs.: Philip De Fries vs. Stipe Miocic
135 lbs.: Ivan Menjivar vs. John Albert

UFC on Fuel TV will be headlined by a welterweight war featuring top division contenders Diego Sanchez and Jake Ellenberger facing off for a spot in the crowded 170-pound title chase.
