UFC 141: "Lesnar vs. Overeem" takes place on Dec. 30, 2011, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and features Brock Lesnar making his return from diverticulitis surgery to battle Alistair Overeem, who will be making his Octagon debut.
Maybe.
Rumors are swirling that Overeem might be out of the fight. There are varying theories as to why that would be, exactly, including the allegation that he skipped town to get away from a pre-fight drug test but what we do know is the Dutchman is on the agenda for the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) tomorrow to apply for his fight license.
"The Reem" is saying he took off for Holland to help care for his mother, who is recovering from cancer and reportedly having some complications surrounding her treatment.
