UFC on FOX 1 results and LIVE fight coverage for 'Velasquez vs Dos Santos' on Nov. 12 in Anaheim

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to pull the trigger on its first foray onto network television with "Velasquez vs. Dos Santos" TONIGHT (Nov. 12, 2011) from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

UFC on Fox 1 will feature just one fight ... but it's a biggie. UFC Heavyweight Champion Cain Velasquez will put his title on the line for the very first time against number one contender and noted Brazilian knockout artist, Junior dos Santos.

Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos (265-pound limit)

Round one: Leg kick from Velasquez. Hard right from Junior. Leg kick from Velasquez. Front kick from Junior caught and he is almost taken down. Leg kick from Cain and then a good left hook. Leg kick from Cain. HUGE right and Velasquez is down on the mat!!! Junior is landing some HUGE bombs now!!! Thats it Cain it out the ref stops it!!! WOW. That's it! Junior dos Santos, the new UFC heavyweight champion.

Final result: Junior dos Santos defeats Cain Velasquez via TKO (Strikes) Round 1

Clay Guida vs. Ben Henderson (155-pound limit)

Round one: Guida is bouncing around like a maniac early and Henderson blasts him with a huge punch. Guida drops and pops right back up to this feet as both men exchange flurries of strikes along the fence. Guida drops down for a takedown and he clears out the cobwebs by forcing Henderson to play defense but he also eats some short knees. Henderson grabs an underhook and throws another knee. Henderson takes inside position with double underhooks and leans hard on Guida. Guida escapes and cracks Henderson with a left hook on the exit. Guida presses forward and Henderson responds with a superman punch. Guida swarms Henderson with a flurry of punches and then latches on a guillotine choke but that's just silly to even try it against Henderson. Henderson escapes and takes top position on the ground, dropping some elbows. Guida pops to his feet and eats a knee as time expires. 10-9 Henderson

Round two: Henderson opens iwht a big knee and Guida presses forward heavily looking for a takedown. He gets it but Henderson has a guillotine choke and he pops right back to his feet, swarming Guida along the fence and then taking Guida down. Guida turns into Henderson and he's on his knees, trying to get back to his feet. He tries to grab a leg but instead explodes to his feet. Henderson counters by dropping down and looking for a takedown, eating a knee from Guida. Henderson responds with a knee of his own and then a big one right to the body. Clay catches a right knee and scores a takedown of his own but Henderson defends and pops to his feet along the fence. Guida has him in a full body lock along the fence and throws some knees. They separate and Henderson lands a right hand as Guida misses with a spinning back fist and Henderson takes top position. Guida pops to his feet and attempts a guillotine choke, it's tight but Henderson breaks free and takes his back! Henderson can't lock in the choke but he instead drops punches until time expires. 10-9 Henderson

Round three: Guida is moving around like crazy and both men have a wild exchange of strikes before backing off again. Axe kick misses for Henderson and Guida explodes forward with a knee to the body. Henderson responds by pushing him into the fence. Henderson throws a knee and Guida bullrushes him with a takedown attempt but Henderson displays incredible balance and remains on his feet, taking inside position along the fence. Henderson ducks a Guida head kick and takes him down, passing to side control immediately. Guida scrambles to his knees and Henderson takes his back with a body triangle and he's got 90 seconds left. Guida turns into the triangle and forces Henderson to give up his position and he explodes forward taking Henderson down hard. Guida again goes for a guillotine choke and Henderson gives a "thumbs up" to the referee. They scramble wildly and Henderson drops big punches as both men throw roll wildly until the the final horn. The crowd is on its feet. 10-9 Henderson

Final result: Ben Henderson defeats Clay Guida via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27)

Dustin Poirier vs. Pablo Garza (145-pounds)

Round one: Garza opens with a front kick but Poirier has him dancing near the fence with good footwork. Garza throws a nice leg kick but he's still stuck on the outside. Head kick from Poirier is blocked and he swarms Garza with punches but cant' sneak anything through Garza's defenses. Garza is crossing his feet a bit which could get him in trouble. Poirier catches a kick and throws some more big punches on Garza before backing off. Another kick is caught by Poirier and he throws him down. Garza clinches and tries to throw knees but gets shrugged off. Garza throws a nice body kick and then he catches a Poirier kick, taking him down and latching on a kneebar but Poirier escapes. Garza lands a nice inside leg kick and Poirier swarms him with punches. Garza drops down looking for a single leg but Poirier gets on top. Garza locks down a leg from below but Poirier drops some short punches and then a big right elbow to the head. Poirier postures up and drops some big punches and Garza is getting overwhelmed here. Garza tries to lock him down looking for an armbar at the end of the round. 10-9 Poirier

Round two: Garza opens with some wild strikes, throwing a big left knee that throws himself off balance. Garza drops down and pulls guard. Poirier is in half guard and Garza has him locked down a bit. Poirier drops a big elbow and Poirier sneaks his arm under Garza's neck and latches on a D'Aarce choke. Poirier is completely stuck here and he gets rolled over nicely and is forced to tap. Terrific finish by Poirier there.

Final result: Dustin Poirier defeats Pablo Garza via submission (D'arce choke) at 1:32 of round two

Cub Swanson vs. Ricardo Lamas (145-pound limit)

Round one: Lamas takes the center of the cage and Swanson backs him off with a head kick. Swanson presses forward with a body kick and two more leg kicks. Lamas throws a leg kick in response but it gets caught. They collide throwing punches and Swanson throws more leg kicks. Lams drops down for a takedown and Swanson can't defend. Lamas is in half guard and he drops some short punches. Lamas tries to pass but Swanson retains full guard. Swanson laatches on a guillotine choke and Lamas tries to escape it, Lamas tries to slam out of it and Lamas pops to his feet which forces Swanson to give up on it. Swanson throws a head kick and Lamas tries a capoeira kick. Swanson throws a spinning back kick and then lands a big punch that appears to stun Swanson. Lamas tries to score a takedown but Swanson ends up on top. He attempts a head scissor from the north-south position but Lamas rolls over and pops to his feet. Lamas lands a big punch at the end of the round. 10-9 Swanson

Round two: Swanson tries a wild kick but he slips and Lamas responds with a head kick that connects as he gets up. Swanson backs Lamas into the fence but Lamas bounces off the cage and shoots forward, taking him down hard. Lamas is stuck in Swanson's full guard and Swanson uses some rubber guard but gives up on it. Lamas postures up and drops some elbows. Swanson turtles along the fence and eats some knees. Lamas tries to take his back and Lamas latches on an arm triangle and he's in side control. Lamas squeezes and he forces Swanson to tap! He caught him by surprise and Swanson had no escape. Terrific finish by Lamas there.

Final result: Ricardo Lamas defeats Cub Swanson via submission (arm triangle choke) at 2:16 of round two

DaMarques Johnson vs. Clay Harvison (170-pound limit)

Round one: Johnson finds a home for his left jab early and Harvison connects with a leg kick. Johnson again connects with the jab and Harvison tries to counter with a huge hook. Johnson lunges in and lands a HUGE left uppercut that drops Harvison. He raises his hands in celebration but the ref doesn't stop it so he throws one more punch on the ground until it's stopped. Terrific finish for Johnson.

Final result: DeMarques Johnson defeats Clay Harvison via TKO at 1:34 of round one

Norifumi Yamamoto vs. Darren Uyenoyama (135-pound limit)

Round one: Yamamoto bounces around the cage early as Uyenoyama takes the center of the cage. Yamamoto lunges in with a right hand and backs away, wary of Uyenoyama's submission skills. They clinch and Yamamoto takes inside position. Yamamoto tosses Uyenoyama with a big takedown and pops back to his feet and then throws him again nicely but Uyenoyama immediately gets to his full guard. Yamamoto wisely backs out. Uyenoyama catches a kick and scores a takedown, dropping some punches. They scramble and Yamamoto lands on top but he might be in trouble. Uyenoyama takes Yamamoto's back with both hooks in and 45 seconds left in the round. Uyenoyama has the choke, it's tight and Yamamoto gets saved by the bell at the end of the round. 10-9 Uyenoyama

Round two: Uyenoyama opens with a big head kick and Yamamoto drops him with a big left hand. Uyenoyama tries to survive by grabbing onto a leg but he's bleeding badly. Uyenoyama scores a takedown, advancing to half guard and he's got a lot of time to work if Yamamoto can't get back to his feet. They scramble and Uyenoyama takes Yamamoto's back with a body triangle and he's got over three minutes to work. Uyenoyama tries to soften Yamamoto up with short punches but Yamamoto is defending so far. Uyenoyama attempts a choke but it's not under the neck, it's more of a chin lock and Yamamoto survives. There's one minute left and Yamamoto is getting dominated right now. 10-8 Uyenoyama

Round three: Yamamoto pushes forward and Uyenoyama allows himself to be taken down. He transitions to mission control in the rubber guard. He's got Yamamoto in a tight spot right now from his back. Yamamoto backs out and eats an upkick. Yamamoto lands a straight left but he seems hesitant. Yamamoto pushes forward and initiates a clinch. He tries another big throw but they stall and get separated. Yamamoto lands a right hand and then the fight is over. Very disappointing performance by Yamamoto here. 10-9 Yamamoto

Final result: Darren Uyenoyama defeats Norifumi Yamamoto via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 30-27)

Robert Peralta vs. Mackens Semerzier (145-pound limit)

Round one: We've got a low blow in the first 10 seconds by Semerzier. Not a good start. Semerzier initiates a clinch against and is looking for a takedown but Peralta is stuffing him so far. Semerzier is really working hard for this takedown and Peralta responds with big punches the second he's got an opening. Peralta lands a nice leg kick but Semerzier responds with a huge right hand that makes him do a backwards somersault. Semerzier swarms him and presses him into the fence, throwing a huge knee on the exit. Semerzier starts to get off with his kicks, landing leg kicks and a big body kick. He grabs a leg and takes Peralta down, taking top position and dropping occasional hammer fists. Peralta is doing a good job of keeping Semerzier from passing his guard but he eats a big right hand at the end of the round. 10-9 Semerzier

Round two: Semerzier looks a little comfortable early and Peralta blasts him with a right hand, dropping him. He tries to swarm him with punches but Semerzier desperately clutches on to his leg trying to shoot for a takedown to clear out the cobwebs. Semerzier gets into a clinch but Peralta get him to back off and they begin exchanging in the center of the cage again. Peralta lands a leg kick and Semerzier responds with another low blow. They exchange and Semerzier initiates another clinch along the fence. Peralta responds with a knee on the break. Semerzier picks it up at the end of the round but it's not enough to take back Peralta's momentum from the beginning. 10-9 Peralta

Round three: Semerzier isn't afraid to land that inside leg kick despite the repeated low blows and Peralta responds with a combination and a side kick to the body. Semerzier throws a pair of leg kicks and Peralta responds with one of his own. Peralta's head collides with Semerzier and Semerzier goes down. He tries to hang on for dear life with a takedown attempt but Peralta swarms him with punches until the ref stops the fight. The fans are not pleased after viewing the replay.

Final result: Robert Peralta defeats Mackens Semerzier via TKO at 1:54 of round three

Alex Caceres vs. Cole Escovedo (135-pound limit)

Round one: Caceres opens with a nice push kick and a body kick, pressuring Escovedo early. Caceres is looking to get his jab going and Escovedo eats a big left hook to the body. Caceres backs Escovedo into the fence with some nice punches and then throws a nice leg kick. Caceres connects with a spinning back fist that turns Escovedo's head and he follows it up with nice punches and a push kick. Escovedo attempts a takedown in the clinch and Caceres throws a pair of punches before backing away. Caceres throws a big switch kick that lands again and follows it up with a left to the body. he's teeing off on Escovedo right now. Escovedo tries to retort but Caceres avoids it by backing away. Caceres throws a slick combination and finishes it off with a push kick that forces Escovedo into the fence. This is the best Caceres has looked in the cage thus far. Escovedo eats a low blow and then pushes forward landing two head kicks before the final bell. 10-9 Caceres

Round two: Caceres throws a nice combination and Escovedo responds with a body kick. Escovedo pushes forward and gets a body kick blocked again. Caceres forces Escovedo to cover up and keeps the pressure, landing nice punches to  the body and head and forcing Escovedo to back up. Caceres landsa  jumping side kick and Escovedo catches him during a spinning attack, pulling guard and attacking but Caceres pops back to his feet. Escovedo has to stop standing with Caceres hee, he's getting worked in the striking. Escovedo attempts a standing arm triangle and then drops down for a leg but Caceres again backs away. Caceres tees off in the stand-up. Caceres keeps up the pressure, throwing combinations and push kicks. Escovedo responds with an elbow and Caceres finds a home for his jab. 10-9 Caceres

Round three: Caceres opens with a side kick and Escovedo scores a takedown. Caceres has him in a triangle but Escovedo escapes. Caceres attacks again with a triangle from the other side and then locks in an armbar from bottom. Caceres transitions to an omaplata and Escovedo slips free. Caceres gets to his feet and eats a huge knee on the way up from Escovedo but now he's standing. That's not a good sign for Escovedo as he wasn't able to get any offense off on the ground. He's got no chance now unless something amazing happens. Cacares lands a roundhouse kick and Escovedo tells him to bring it on. Escovedo pushes Caceres down and tries a flying knee as he gets up. Escovedo needs a miracle. Escovedo scores a takedown with a minute left and he takes Caceres' back standing. He's up high and tries to transition to a triangle choke but Caceres slips free. Both men are tired now and they trade punches until the final bell. 10-9 Caceres

Final result: Alex Caceres defeats Cole Escovedo via unanimous decision (30-27 x3)

Paul Bradley vs. Mike Pierce (185-pound limit)

Round one: Pierce takes control of the center of the cage and gets right in Bradley's face. Bradley connects a nice left hook in an exchange. Pierce looks to grab a leg but Bradley drops his hips back and escapes. Pierce dives in but gets his momentum reversed along the fence. Pierce connects with a solid kick and then a big right hand but Bradley seems unaffected. Pierce is looking for that big overhand right, finishing a combination with a solid leg kick. Bradley lunges in with a combination to back Pierce off but they collide in the center with a clinch. After separating, Bradley connects with a superman punch but eats a leg kick. Bradley shoots in and takes Pierce down but Pierce pops back to his feet. Bradley has Pierce in a back body lock standing but Pierce turns into him and forces him to back away. Pierce bullrushes Bradley and swarms him with punches to the head and body. They trade knees before time expires. 10-9 Pierce

Round two: Pierce and Bradley exchange clinches early, throwing some short knees. Pierce shoots and gets stuffed easily by Bradley but Pierce lands a nice left hook on the break. Pierce connects with a big left jab and then presses Bradley into the fence. Bradley presses forward, throwing good knees to the body as both men hang onto each other in the cage center. Bradley shoots in but gets stuffed easily with a whizzer by Pierce as both men clinch again in the center. This was a rather ugly round. 10-9 Pierce

Round three: Both men exchange big strikes early but they go right back to the clinch in the cage center again. Bradley throws a nice knee on the exit and both men exchange big hooks. Bradley opens up with some jabs and shoots in for a takedown but gets stuffed. They clinch in the cage center but it's a stalemate and the ref separates them. Pierce throws a nice right hand but they go right back to the clinch in the cage center. I've never seen two guys clinch in the center of the cage like this before. Pierce throws a nice inside leg kick. Pierce comes in aggressively and Bradley shoots in deep, taking him down. Pierce drops hammerfists and elbows and Bradley lets go.  Pierce connects a nice lead uppercut and both men exchange bombs until the final bell. 10-9 Pierce

Final result: Mike Pierce defeats Paul Bradley via split decision (28-29, 30-27, 29-28)

Matt Lucas vs. Aaron Rosa (205-pound limit)

Round one: Lucas lunges in with a right hand and initiates a clinch. Lucas scores a takedown but Rosa immediately pops back to his feet. Rosa throws a head kick that's blocked. They clinch and trade short right hands and Rosa lunges forward with a flurry of strikes. Lucas pushes him into the fence and Rosa throws some short knees to the body. They separate and clinch again with Lucas taking inside position but Rosa has control of Lucas' head. Both men open up and exchange a bit but Lucas again drops down and pushes Rosa into the fence. Rosa drops short punches and elbows on Lucas while his back is against the fence. Rosa throws some solid knees to the body and then some more short elbows, his much better despite being pressed against the fence. Rosa throws some big flurries of strikes at the end of the round and Lucas looks tired. 10-9 Rosa

Round two: Rosa looks relaxed in the stand-up but the second he throws a big strikes, Lucas ducks it and takes him down hard but Rosa pops to his feet immediately again. They clinch and Rosa throws a big knee to the body and some short uppercuts. Lucas grabs a single along the fence but Rosa pounds him with elbows. Rosa attempts a standing Kimura and they separate and Lucas responds with a nice overhand right that lands flush. Lucas drops his mouthpiece for the third time and referee John McCarthy deducts a point. Lucas scores a takedown into half guard but Rosa pops to his feet as time expires. 10-8 Rosa with the point deduction.

Round three: Lucas comes out swinging and both men exchange bit punches early. Lucas initiates a clinch but again Rosa counters with nice short strikes. Rosa throws some solid short elbows that force Lucas to back off. Lucas clinches and Rosa throws short punches and knees to the body. Lucas backs off and Rosa really opens up with heavy strikes before Lucas again pushes him into the fence. Rosa grabs an underhook and then blasts Lucas with a knee on the exit. Rosa throws an inside leg kick that connects solidly and then follows up with three big knees to the body. Now Rosa is on the inside in the clinch and he's punching Lucas solidly in the face and body. Rosa is really going to work with knees and short punches in the clinch. Lucas attempts a takedown at the end of the round but Rosa uses a whizzer to stuff it as the fight concludes. 10-9 Rosa

Final result: Aaron Rosa defeats Matt Lucas via majority decision (30-26, 30-26, 28-28)
