The UFC 138: "Leben vs. Munoz" main card, taking place today (Nov. 5, 2011) at the LG Arena in Birmingham, England, kicked off with a lightweight showdown pitting British banger Terry Etim against Edward Faaloloto.
This was the first fight in over a year for Etim, who was once one of the most promising young contenders at 155-pounds. As opposed to Faaloloto, who had lost two in a row going in and needed a win in the worst way. Did he get it?
He sure as hell did not.
Etim returned in a big way with what will likely earn him "Submission of the Night" by doing his best Joe Lauzon impression and tapping Faaloloto in just 17 seconds with a guillotine choke.
The bout opened with the crowd chanting for their hometwon boy, Etim. And he delivered in a big way.
Before you could even blink, Etim had delivered a few punches, a kick and locked in a tight guillotine that Faaloloto had absolutely zero chance of escaping from.
Terry Etim is back, ladies and gentlemen.
"I'm 100-percent and ready to make an impact in the lightweight division," Etim claimed in the post-fight interview.
We believe you.
