Shinya Aoki vs Satoru Kitaoka booked for DREAM year-end event in Japan

It's probably safe to say this one isn't going to end by way of knockout.

That's because Shinya Aoki and Satoru Kitaoka, who will throw down under the DREAM banner as part of the FieLDS 'Genki Desu Ka!!' New Year's Eve event in Japan, have 58 combined wins between them.

Aoki has one technical knockout win to his credit. Kitaoka doesn't have any.

And "The Tobikan Judan's" one TKO came back in 2005 under the Shooto banner when Kuniyoshi Hironaka was sliced open and couldn't continue.

That being said, they've both combined for 34 submission wins -- and zero submission losses -- so (on paper) this lightweight pairing should prove to be a grappling fan's delight.

Aoki is the winner of six straight with five brutal submissions and three straight neck cranks. Kitaoka has won four consecutive bouts, including a hard-fought split decision over William Freire back in September.

Matchmaking win.

Here is the current "Genki Desu Ka!!' fight card and line-up for Dec. 31 at the Saitama Super Arena:
