UFC 139 results: Michael McDonald destroys Alex Soto

In a battle of two talented young bantamweights on the UFC 139 Spike TV prelims, Michael McDonald who came away with a highlight reel stoppage tonight (November 19, 2011) in San Jose, California.

Alex Soto put up a fight early, pushing the pace aggressively and forcing the talented youngster backwards.

Just 20 years old, McDonald won't even be able to go out for a legal celebratory drink afterwards.

Regardless, he definitely wowed the fans cageside.

McDonald blasted Soto with beautiful right hand, dropping him inside the first minute and his follow-up strikes were relentless, putting him away with a plethora of punches and officially scoring a 56 second knockout.

With the victory, McDonald moves to 3-0 in the UFC and this was his first stoppage. The kid definitely has a bright future.
