M-1 Global recently held the official weigh in for its upcoming event, M-1 GLOBAL: "Battle of the Legends," which is headlined by a heavyweight bout between two seasoned veterans, Fedor Emelianenko and Jeff Monson.
All fighters successfully hit their respective marks on the scale and have been green-lit to compete at the grand Olympic Arena tomorrow (Sun., Nov. 20, 2011) morning (United States timezone).
Emeliaenenko looks to get back to his dominating ways that he was accustomed to before he had his win streak snapped by Fabricio Werdum, which he followed up with two consecutive losses to Antonio Silva and Dan Henderson. Monson, meanwhile, is eager to string together two consecutive wins after being battered on the feet for 15 minutes against Daniel Cormier at Strikeforce: "Overeem vs. Werdum" earlier this year.
M-1 GLOBAL's "Battle of the Legends" is set to air LIVE on PPV on the Internet via Ustream with the FREE undercard streaming live on Facebook and by Integrated Sports Media via iN Demand, DIRECTV, DISH Network and Avail-TVN. It is scheduled to begin live in North America at 7 a.m. ET.
