Bellator Fighting Championships returns TONIGHT (Nov. 19, 2011) to the The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., with a lightweight title bout and a pair of non-title bouts that should deliver some highlights.
MMAmania.com will provide LIVE blow-by-blow, round-by-round coverage of Bellator 58 below, beginning with the MTV2 telecast at 7 p.m. ET. In addition, we'll deliver up-to-the-minute quick results of all the undercard action much earlier in the evening.
Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, will look to defend his title for the second time. He'll square off against Bellator season four tournament winner, Michael Chandler, who earned a shot at the title earlier this year.
Also on the card, Bellator Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard will compete in a 195-pound catchweight fight against former UFC and Strikeforce competitor Trevor Prangley. Lombard will hope to score his fourth highlight reel stoppage in as many non-title bouts since becoming champ.
Lastly, former Sengoku featherweight champion and Bellator summer series tournament finalist Marlon Sandro will look to get back on track against WEC veteran and fellow Brazilian Rafael Dias.

155 lb. title: Eddie Alvarez vs. Michael Chandler
Round one: They come out swinging and Chandler tags Alvarez, hurting him and swarming with a huge flurry of punches! Alvarez is hurt badly and he fires back with a right hand of his own! Chandler scores a takedown but Alvarez pops back to his feet along the fence. Chandler picks him up and slams him again but Alvarez again pops up. They begin exchanging wildly once more in the cage center. Chandler is brimming with confidence. Chandler tries to close the distance and Alvarez unleashes a flurry of hooks and now Alvarez takes inide position along the fence. Chandler turtles and Alvarez tries to take his back but Chandler slips out the back door and they go back to standing in the center. Alvarez is getting comfortable, he lands a nice punch and then a big knee as Chandler ducks down. Chandler lunges in with hooks, initiates a clinch and throws a knee to the body. Neither man is backing down. Chandler tags Alvarez with a nice right hand. Chandler BLASTS Alvarez right before the bell and he's saved by the bell. WOW! What a round! 10-8 Chandler
Round two: Chandler opens again with a nice right hand. Chandler clinches with Alvarez against the fence and scores a nice takedown, passing to half guard. Eddie Alvarez is bleeding heavily out of his mouth. Chandler tries to take Alvarez's back but can't get the hooks in and they go back to trading in the cage center. Chandler shoots in for a takedown and gets stuffed. In the turtle, it looks like Alvarez is trying for a guillotine or a north-south choke but they both get back to their feet. Chandler is displaying terrific footwork, although his hands are dropping. Alvarez throws a nice head kick and follows it up with a right hand. Alvarez avoids a big right cross and counters with a big flurry to close out the round strong. 10-9 Alvarez
Round three: Chandler is slowing down a little bit now and Alvarez has command of the center of the cage, stalking the youngster. Alvarez lands a nice left hand and Chandler is no longer in range to connect his big strikes. Alvarez initiates a clinch but backs off. Alvarez shoots in for a clinch and latches on a guillotine but Chandler slips out. Alvarez turns it up an dnow he's all over Chandler with a big flurry of punches. Chandler tries to fire back with a big right hand and Alvarez is going to work now with big blows to the head and body! Chandler shoots in and gets stuffed easily as Alvarez drops hammerfists. They get back to their feet and Alvarez clinches, letting go with his hands. Alvarez is in full control right now and Chandler's face is messed up. Alvarez turns it on again, blastin gChandler and Chandelr is trying to escape. Chandler responds with a big right uppercut but Alvarez continues to unleash a flurry of strikes. Chandler shoots in for a deep single but gets sprawled easily again. Chandler keeps pushing forward, pushing Alvarez into the fence trying to catch a break from the onslaught of punches. 10-9 Alvarez
Round four: Both men's shorts are stained red with blood and both men have slowed down, having each been in a position to finish the fight. Chandler appears to have recovered, lets see if he can respond to that rough last round. Chandler lands a nice right hand. Both men are circling each other and throwing with confidence. Chandler lands a big right hand and Alvarez backs off. Alvarez get rocked and Chandler swarms him, dropping punches on the ground and then passing to mount! Alvarez gives up his back and Chandler takes it, sinking in a rear naked choke and forcing the tap! Michael Chandler is the new Bellator lightweight champion. That's one of the best fights of the year. Incredible!

195 lbs.: Hector Lombard vs. Trevor Prangley
Round one: Lombard bullrushes Prangley early, shoving him into the fence and looking to land huge punches early. Lombard holds Prangley against the fence and then unloads with a huge flurry of strikes. Prangley survives by pushing forward and scoring a takedown but Lombard pops right back to his feet and takes inside position in the clinch along the fence. The pace slows and both men are patiently sizing each other up now in the center of the cage. Prangley is unafraid of Lombard and he begins to loosen up with his punches at the end of the round. 10-9 Lombard
Round two: Both men size each other up, trading cautiously but as Prangley throws a big punch, Lombard catches him with a huge left uppercut. Prangley is hurt and Lombard swarms him with huge punches and Prangley goes down. Lombard blasts him with strikes on the ground and Prangley goes out cold. The ref takes forever to come in and put a stop to it and Prangley eats about 4 unnecessary punches before it's over.
Final Result: Hector Lombard defeats Trevor Prangley via knockout at 1:06 of round two

115 lbs.: Lisa Ward-Ellis vs. Jessica Aguilar
Round one: Both ladies striking tentatively early, looking for an opening but both have a very high guard and can't get much through. Aguilar lands a couple left hands and then a right. Ward is trying to keep her at bay with kicks but Aguilar is staying in the pocket. Aguilar lands a nice looping left hand and Ward wades in with a hook, pushing her into the fence as both trade knees at the bell. 10-9 Aguilar
Round two: Ward throws a right hand early and Aguilar is bleeding out of her nose. Aguilar lands a punch to the eye. They both open up and start winging punches. Both ladies get tagged. Ward tries a flying knee but slips and falls to her back. Aguilar drops some big punches from above and then looks like she latches on an anaconda choke. Ward gets to her feet but Aguilar still has her in a headlock and she drops huge knees to the head. Ward gets dragged down to the canvas and beat on for a little longer but she survives and gets back to her feet. Ward throws a couple decent jabs at the end of the round. 10-9 Aguilar
Round three: Both ladies are in the center of the cage but neither is landing anything significant. Aguilar catches a kick and scores a takedown but Ward pops right back up. Aguilar is getting the better of the punching. Ward pushes forward, walking through Aguilar's punches and landing some of her own. Aguilar's nose is opened up again but she scores a takedown into side control. Ward attempts a Kimura but Aguilar remains on top dropping ground and pound until the fight is over. 10-9 Aguilar
Final Result: Jessica Aguilar defeats Lisa Ward-Ellis via unanimous decision

155 lbs.: Marlon Sandro vs. Rafael Dias
Round one: Sandro takes the center and is stalking Dias early. Will be interesting to see how aggressive he is after getting knocked out by Pat Curran in his last fight. Sandro wades in and pokes Dias in the eye, not a great start. They exchange and Sandro gets tagged, he goes down. Dias swarms him wildly but Sandro is already recovered and he grabs a body lock, scoring a takedown in top position. Sandro is comfortable in half guard here, looks like he's resting a bit and clearing his head. Dias tries to sit back and they scramble. Sandro stays on top and as Dias tries to get to his feet, Sandro locks in a standing arm triangle. Dias is in trouble here and he goes to the ground. Dias tries to roll free but he's forced to tap!
Final Result: Marlon Sandro defeats Rafael Dias via submission (arm triangle) at 3:56 of round one
