UFC on FOX recorded a live gate of $1,072,187 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, on Nov. 12, 2011, according to official figures from the California State Athletic Commission released yesterday.
The final attendance of 11,607 was a result of 9,864 tickets sold and 1,743 complimentary tickets while approximately 1,700 tickets remained unsold.
By comparison, UFC 137 recorded a live gate of $3,900,650 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Oct. 29, 2011, with a final attendance of 10,313 (8,179 tickets sold, 2,134 complimentary and 409 tickets unpurchased).
UFC on FOX featured just one fight for the network telecast, a 64-second win for Junior dos Santos, who stripped Cain Velasquez of the heavyweight crown via first round technical knockout in front of nearly nine million viewers.
Untelevised contests, which streamed live via the promotion's Facebook page as well as FoxSports.com, featured memorable bouts of Clay Guida vs. Ben Henderson as well as Dustin Poirier vs. Pablo Garza.
