Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is set to pull the trigger on its latest blockbuster pay-per-view fight (PPV) card this Saturday night (Nov. 19, 2011) live from the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.
UFC 139: "Shogun vs. Henderson" will be headlined by former Pride FC and Strikeforce champion Dan Henderson, climbing back inside the Octagon to wage war against Mauricio Rua in a potential number one 205-pound contender eliminator bout.
The co-main event will highlight the long-awaited UFC debut of Cung Le as he takes on "The Axe Murderer" Wanderlei Silva.

Round one: Both men still and ready. Leg kick from Rua. HUGE right cross from Hendo and Shogun's knees buckle. Shogun shoots and Hendo locks in a choke. Hendo lets it go and unleashes of barrage of power shots that bloodies Shogun's face!!! Another big right hook and Shogun again falls to the mat and grabs Henderson's legs in desperation. Now their tied up against the cage and Hendo tosses Rua to the mat and walks away like a badass. Nice knee and right from Rua. Leg kick from Shogun. Shogun charges in and looks for a take down and he lands a good right elbow on the break. Big right from Hendo glances. Right left combo from Henderson. Body shot from Shogun and now Rua lands a good right that puts Hendo to the mat. Hendo holding onto a leg and gets up and lands a big right hand. Uppercut from Rua and then a right and then a head kick. Jab from Rua. Nice right from Hendo. Hard left from Rua and now their tied up against the cage. Good knees from Hendo to the body. That is the bell and round 1 was all Henderson. 10-9 Henderson.
Round two: Shogun is cut pretty good above the left eye. Jab from Rua. Uppercut from Hendo. Jab from Henderson. Jab from Shogun. Henderson with a duck under and knee to the body as they clinch against the cage. Knee to the thigh from Henderson. Good elbow from Shogun and counter right from Hendo on the break. Henderson with a brief take down but cannot get onto Rua and he is up. Jab fom Rua and another. Good right from Rua. Henderson lands a HUGE right hand that drops Shogun and now Henderson on top on the ground. Henderson is landing some vicious ground and pound punches!! Henderson with an uppercut and an elbow now. Rua is gushing blood! Rua now grabs a leg and is going for a heel hook! Henderson si out and now their back to the feet!!! Shogun's face looks like raw hamburger meat! Now their clinched against the cage. Hendeson with elbows to the body. Both men gasping for air. HUGE elbows to the side of Rua's head. Shogun with a take down and now he is landing some good punches! Henderson stands up and eats a right from Shogun on the way up. Their back to the clinch against the cage. Elbow from Rua. That is the bell and another round for Henderson, but both men looked gassed out. 10-9 Henderson.
Round four: Shogun's face is a mess. But both men are gassed. Shogun shoots for a single and gets the take down and Hendo pops up but eats some good punches. Now hendo takes Rua's back and rolls him over in a crucifix. Henderson has a choke! Rua slips out! Now their back to the feet an uppercut from Rua. Henderson with a take down and he is into side control. Rua grabs half guard now. Henderson now has a one arm guillotine locked in! Hendo looses it though and is now on top in full guard. HUGE right from Henderson and another BOMB! Now Rua scrambles and Hendo lands a knee to the body and Rua is back to his feet. Both men are tired and they should be. Jab from Rua. Right from Hendo and uppercut from Rua. Right from Shogun. Jab from Henderson. HARD uppercut from Rua! Henderson is hurt!! Henderson shoots for a double and Rua gets out! Big right from Henderson and jab from Rua!!! Jab from Both men. Right from Both men. Rua now with a take down with 20 seconds left. Full mount for Shogun and he is raining punches!!! Shogun has the back but Henderson reveses and is on top!!!! Elbow from Henderson at the bell!!!! OH MY GOD THIS FIGHT IS AMAZING. 10-9 Henderson.
Round five: Shogun's face is a bloody mess, Henderson cannot breathe, and this is the best fight i've ever seen. Both men look like theyve been through a war which they have. They engage and shogun with the take down! Knee to the body from Shogun from Side control. Henderson trying to walk the cage. Shogun gets into full mount!!! Rua landing big blows. Hendo looking to buck out of this spot. Henderson trying to stall it out. Henderson gets out of the mount now and Henderson has half guard. Shogun again with full mount!!! Henderson gives up his back!!! Henderson gets half guard and then Rua with the full mount again!!! Henderson is gassed and Shogun is landing a big shot. Henderson trying to hold down Rua and just stall out this round he is gassed. Rua with good hammer fists and punches. Henderson gets to half guard. Shogun again with the full mount!! Punches from Rua. That is the bell, wow. Rua dominated to a 10-8 round, but I have Henderson winning rounds 1-4 with maybe round 4 being a toss up. This was the best fight ive ever got the pleasure to watch. Could be a draw. 10-8 Rua.

Round one: Flurry from Le against the cage and Silva counters with a right. Silva lands a good right hand and Le is backing up now. Spinning back fist from Le lands hard. Spinning head kick from Le lands. Le lands another spinning back fist that drops Silva! Silva defending now and he is hit with another spinning back fist. Silva is hurt. Side kick to the body from Le. Side kick to the body again from Le. Good right from Wandy. Body kick from Le. Wild rights from Silva. Wheel kick to the chest from Le. Good right hook from Lee and right from Silva. Side kick from Le. Spinning back fist from Le misses. Leg kick from Silva and then a head kick. Right from Le. Side kick from Le. BIG right from Silva. Round two: Le is cut above his left eye. Slip from Silva and he is back to his feet and side kick from Le. Leg kick from Silva. Body kick from Silva. Silva lands a big right and Le with a big counter left! Body kick from Le and then an axe kick from Le. Good hard right from Silva and a leg kick from Silva. Body kick from Le. Body kick from Le. Faber now has the guillotine choke locked in DEEP!!! Thats it Bowles taps out!! WOW that was an impressive win.

Kingsbury flattens out and Bonnar is on top in half guard. North south position for Bonnar and is going for a north south choke now! Bonnar now into side control as he lets go of the choke. Elbows to the head from Bonnar. Punches from Bonnar on the top and Kingsbury looks helpless at this point. Kingsbury looking to scramble and Bonnar just controlling his body with his strength and superior positioning. Bonnar with a flurry of big punches to end the fight. 10-9 Bonnar.

Story shoots and gets a take down of his own and now Kampmann walks the cage and is up to his feet. Kampmann with a good combo and now he lands two good knees from the clinch. Now their tied up against the cage. Kampmann now has the back while standing and is still working for the take down. Kampmann with a suplex and brief take down but Story pops up. Now their clinched against the cage again. Trip from Kampmann and then he lands a good right. Story with a take down and Kampmann right back to his feet and now Kampmann with a take down of his own. Kampmann with punches. Now Kampmann has the back and both hooks in! Kampmann almost has the rear naked choke but he just runs out of time. Kampmann should have won that fight. 10-9 Kampmann.

WOW This kid is impressive.

Tom Lawlor vs. Chris Weidman (185-pound limit)
Round one: Weidman comes out with straight front kick to the body. Lawlor with big overhand right, Weidman ducks under. Lawlor with another big, wild right hand, Weidman runs right through it and gets the takedown. Lawlor tries to wall walk back up. Weidman sweeps his leg and gets him on his back. Weidman working for submission, possibly a d'arce choke. He's locked it in now! This is bad for Lawlor! Weidman has his hands connected and is squeezing. Weidman never even gets the chance to tap...he's out!! Beautiful submission! Scary moment for Lawlor.
Final result: Chris Weidman via submission (d'arce choke) at 2:07 of round one

Gleison Tibau vs. Rafael Dos Anjos (155-pound limit)
Round one: Dos Anjos throws leg kick right away. Tibau stalking. Dos Anjos throws wild looping right hand that misses. Tibau pushes forward throwing some big punches. Dos Anjos throws a few of his own. Not a lot connecting so far. Dos Anjos with good body kick. Very fast pace. Tibau comes forward again with punch combo. Tibau gets the takedown. Dos Anjos grabs a leg and is able to get back to his feet. Dos Anjos throws a big right hand that is blocked. Dos Anjos throws right head kick. Also blocked. Both fighters trade punches to the head. Just under two to go. Dos Anjos gets a beautiful double legged takedown and slams Tibau to the canvas. Tibau wall walks up the fence and is back standing. One minute to go. Dos Anjos backs up then runs forward with a jump high kick. Tibau with the jab. Tibau rushes forward with a four-punch combination. Dos Anjos with a good right hook. Uppercut by Dos Anjos, then he clinches against the cage. Very close round. Neither did more than the other. I'm calling it 10-10.
Round two: Almost immediately, referee pauses to fix Tibau's tape on his left hand. Back to action. Tibau with good left hook. Dos anjos come forward with a few quick punches. A minute in and nothing real significant. Lots of feints and jabs. Tibau comes forward and looks for takedown but only gets air. Exchange in the middle and Tibau lands another good left hook. Dos Anjos goes for single leg takedown but good balance by Tibau and nothing doing. Dos Anjos throws left head kick, blocked. Dos Anjos throws big left hand and then grabs hold of Tibau to work for takedown. Tiabau reverses and is going for a leg now. Joe Rogan just said it well when he said: "Neither of these guys is taking control of this fight." Tibau has him rocked! Wow! Dos Anjos is wobbly! Out of nowhere Tibau is raining HUGE punches! Dos Anjos is practically out on his feet, leaning on the fence. Tibau looks to finish with thirty seconds left. Dos Anjos bleeding badly out of his right ear. Tibau is in command now. 10-9 Tibau.
Round three: Dos Anjos clips Tibau with big left hook. Tibau recovers. Dos Anjos pushes forward again with a good punch combo. Tibau with a stiff jab. Tibau feints a takedown then changes levels with a good right hand. Dos Anjos with big left uppercut. Both men throwing a ton of punches. Some are connecting, but the exchanges are very even. Just over two minutes left. Tibau lands a big takedown. Tibau in full guard. Dos Anjos uses fence to get back on his feet. Tibau has his back to the cage, but working for underhooks and will probably try to take him down again. Tibau drops down for a leg now. Dos Anjos defends and reverses. Dos Anjos working hard for a single leg takedown, but again, great balance by Tibau. Tibau lands a big left hand to the head. VERY close round. Very close fight. 10-9 Tibau, is my best guess.

Miguel Torres vs. Nick Pace (135-pound limit)
Round one: Torres goes for leg kick and eats a jab right away. Torres comes right back and lands two good leg kicks in a row. Torres with a good jab. Pace throws a head kick that misses. Torres with another leg kick. Pace answers with an inside leg kick. Very patient posturing by both fighters. Not a lot of action. Leg kicks and jabs o'plenty. Three minutes left. Good right hand by Torres. Torres throws a punch combo and follows with a hard inside leg kick. Pace throwing a decent amount of punches but not landing much. Torres' reach looks like it's bothering Pace who now rushes in to try for a takedown. Pace has him up against the fence. Two minutes to go in the round. Torres nails him on the shoulder with a couple of nasty elbows. Pace not giving up on it, still going for the takedown. Odd that the referee isn't separating. Not much happening and Pace is not getting the takedown. Finally, Pace is able to get him down but Torres is back up almost as soon as his back hits the mat. Twenty seconds left. Torres lands a good right hand to the head of Nick Pace. 10-9 Torres.
Round two: Torres goes for head kick right away. Pace blocks it. Torres comes back with a jump high kick that gets close to landing. Transitions straight to a couple of leg kicks. Torres lands a jab, then a left hook. One minute into the round and Pace is really just letting Torres decide where this fight is going. Another leg kick to the outer thigh of Pace. The kicks look like they're starting to affect him. Torres feints a wide left hook and Pace ducks under, landing a takedown and putting the former WEC champ on his back. Torres in full guard, working the butterfly. He's very dangerous from here. Pace trying to pass. Torres landing a lot of shots from the bottom. Pace working hard for side control and Torres slips out. Back up on the feet. Pace trying to control the neck and inevitably will want to take him down again. Torres lands a good knee to the body and is lighting Pace up with a lot of dirty boxing strikes against the fence. Lots of short strikes but they're all getting through. The short ones add up. Pace trying to sink a choke in but can't connect his hands. Torres is putting on a dirty boxing. Round ends with Torres throwing a barrage of knees and elbows. 10-9 Torres.
Round three: Torres comes out throwing jabs. Torres throws a good punch-kick combo that backs Pace up. pace rushes in and eats a good right cross. Inside leg kick by Torres. Pace tries to clinch up, lands a knee to the body. Torres backs up and throws a decent right hand that connects to the midsection. Pace attacks, throws overhand right that misses. Torres ducks under, grabs underhooks and pushes him against the fence. We're back to where we left things the end of round two. Torres and Pace trading knees in the clinch. Pace bleeding from the nose now, presumably caused by the elbows of Torres. Back to center. One and a half left. PAce throws huge right uppercut that misses. Torres with good jab. Pace pushes forward and clinches but is reversed. Torres throwing more elbows and knees. Tores is landing elbows to the head, knees to the body and punches to ribcage. Pace pushes off the fence and gets back to the middle of the cage. Fight ends with Torres throwing a wild front-flip kick that misses completely, much to the bemusement of Nick Pace. 10-9 Torres.

Seth Baczynski vs. Matt Brown (170-pound limit)
Round one: Leg kick by Brown. Baczynski clips Brown with a decent right hand. It's up against the fence now. Dirty boxing by Baczynski. Brown trying to get underhooks and work free, lands a decent knee. Baczynski controlling but eating some knees to his quads. Baczynski backs up and throws a decent punch combo. Brown reverses and tries to get double underhooks. Baczynski reverses, grabs a double leg and throws Brown to his back who now works from the full guard. Baczynski postures up but Brown controls his head. Brown waits for the right moment and sneaks out the back door. Back on the feet. Just under two minutes to go. Brown coming forward attempting a couple of head kicks. Baczynski lands a nice left hand to the head then clinches up against the cage. Close to a minute left. Brown lands a knee to the midsection. Baczynski drops down and looks for a leg but can't secure anything. Brown with another good knee. Baczynski lands a good right to the head and then grabs a guillotine as the horn sounds. 10-9 Baczynski.
Round two: Brown lands a kick to the body. Baczynski answers with a punch combo. Brown gets takedown but dives in headfirst. Baczynski has a tight choke and has Brown in a body lock, controlling him with his legs. Brown working hard to get his neck free and he cannot. Baczynski squeezes until Brown has no choice but to tap. Very nice guillotine choke from the bottom!
Final result: Seth Baczynski via submission (guillotine choke) 0:42 of round two

Round one: Castillo comes right out, slips, gets back up and shoots for the takedown. Castillo on top in Bailey's guard. Bailey able to escape and they're back up. Castillo has him pinned up against the cage, grabs a double-leg and slams him back to the mat. Bailey back up. Once again, Castillo slams him to the mat. Not as big a "power slam" as it could have been but Castillo is dominating in the grappling aspect. Castillo back in Bailey's guard. Castillo trying to get a leg free to work for side control. Castillo working hammerfists and elbows to rib cage. A minute and a half left. Bailey trying vigorously to get back up but Castillo having no part of it. Castillo posturing up and using the hammerfists on Bailey's face and sides of his head now. Bailey is taking some abuse. Thirty seconds left. Castillo gets full mount. Bailey tries hip escape but eats a ton of punches in the process. Referee steps in and stops the fight as Castillo is bludgeoning him with ground and pound.
Final result: Danny Castillo via TKO (strikes at 4:52 of round one)
