UFC 136 results: Leonard Garcia vs Nam Phan fight metric report shows judges made right call

You're darn right this is news. Leonard Garcia engaged in yet another wild brawl with Nam Phan on the main card of the UFC 136: "Edgar vs. Maynard" pay-per-view last night (Oct. 8, 2011) in Houston, Texas, and he actually came up short on the scorecards.

As you can see in the Fight Metric report, it was the right call.

Phan was once again the more technical of the two, measuring his shots while scoring with accurate strikes that Garcia answered by simply flailing his arms around. And while that strategy worked just fine back at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 12 Finale in Dec. 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada, it didn't fly last night in Houston, Texas.

The grappling and performance reports are after the jump, courtesy of the fine folks at Fight Metric. For complete UFC 136 results and blow-by-blow coverage of all the night's action click here.
