"I would never make that comment if that shooting happened first. I can't imagine what it's like for the parents. I got a four-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy."
UFC lightweight Jacob Volkmann regrets calling United States President Barack Obama an "idiot" in wake of the recent shooting in Arizona that claimed the lives of six victims and left Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) clinging to life. "Christmas" was frustrated over the current health care reform and spoke his mind about the state of the union, which resulted in a visit from the Secret Service, who are required to investigate all threats against the President. Anyone think Volkmann's comments were blown way out of proportion? Or based on what happened in Arizona, should nothing be taken lightly when it comes to U.S. politics?
