Strikeforce results and LIVE fight coverage for 'Fedor vs Werdum' on June 26 in San Jose

Strikeforce and M-1 Global will join forces once again tonight at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California for "Fedor vs. Werdum." The four-fight main card will air live on Showtime, beginning at 10 p.m. ET.

"Fedor vs. Werdum" will feature the long-awaited heavyweight showdown between top ranked heavyweight enigma Fedor Emelianenko and jiu-jitsu wizard Fabricio Werdum.

Several of the promotion's other top fighters will be in action on the card as well, including 145-pound Women's Champion Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos as she "Cuddles" with Jan Finney.

265 lbs.: Fedor "The Last Emperor" Emelianenko vs. Fabricio "Vai Cavalo" Werdum

Round one: Fedor takes the center of the cage. Werdum uncorks a leg kick. The crowd is really getting loud for this fight. Werdum leans in and Fedor unloads a flurry of punches. Werdum is down. Fedor pounces and Werdum tries to capitalize with an armbar. Fedor powers out of it and looks to rain down some punches. Again Werdum with an armbar, and this time he may have it. Fedor is out and Werdum transitions to a triangle choke. It's deep! Fedor is locked up in this triangle and now Werdum has his arm too. Fedor is in deep deep trouble here! This could be history. Holy shit, he taps. Fabricio Werdum has just submitted Fedor Emelianenko. Holy shit!

Final result: Fabricio Werdum defeats Fedor Emelianenko via submission (triangle choke w/ an armbar) at 1:09 of round one

185 lbs.: Cung Le vs. Scott "Hands of Steel" Smith

Round one: Smith runs forward, but Cung circles away. Right hand lands for Smith as he chases Le down. He drives the former champion into the cage now and both fighters begin to work for position. The crowd starts in with the "Cung Le" chants. They separate and Le is throwing a good amount of jabs here. Now a nice combination of punches land for Cung. There's a leg kick. Another straight left, and Cung seems to have found his timing here. Smith charges forward again, looking to smother Cung, but Le easily circles away. Now Cung connects on a hard left hand that stuns Smith. Smith shoots for the takedown as Le moves forward. Le sprawls and has a good north-south position. Knees to the shoulder from Le. He's glued onto Scott Smith and now he's landing punches to the body. Smith working hard to escape and he powers back to his feet. Le with his back to the cage here and both fighters working the knees. Smith with a flurry on the separation, and now Le fires back with more jabs. Hard kick to the body from Le. Smith winces. He definitely felt that one. High kick from Le gets partially blocked. More punches from Le. Smith shoots lazily for another takedown. Le sprawls again and takes the same position from before. Punches to the body from Le as the round ends. 10-9 Cung Le.

Round two: Smith moving forward and he eats a hard combination from Le. Smith backs off and then charges forward again. Another nice counter combination from Le as he circles away. Spinning kick to the body from Le and Smith folds up. Le charges, but Smith gets back to his feet. Le charges and lands a body punch as Smith covers up by falling to the mat. Le is pounding away now, looking for the finish, but Smith looks to be okay here. Smith works to get back to his feet, but Le has his back. He's up and they separate. Jabs from Le. Smith continues to walk forward and he walks right into another spinning kick to the body. He crumbles and Le pounces. Big punches from Le and Smith isn't defending. The referee steps in and Cung Le has his revenge.

Final result: Cung Le defeats Scott Smith via technical knockout (strikes) at 1:46 of round two

145 lbs.: Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos vs. Jan "Cuddles" Finney

Round one: No gloves touching in this one and the champ eats a punch right away. She doesn't like that and she charges full steam ahead with a barrage of punches of her own. Into the clinch, but not before Finney tees off with another hard punch to the head. Cyborg has her against the cage here and both fighters are working for position. Cyborg punches her way out and there's a big exchange. Cyborg connects on several head shots and Finney drops to her knees. She stands back up, but Cyborg is all over her and lands a heavy knee. Somehow Finney gets herself into a clinch, and she looks to be recovering from here. Cyborg flurries and Finney is in trouble again! She's down and Cyborg is standing over her raining punches. Finney is latched onto her leg and Cyborg is drilling her with punches. Cyborg backs up and the referee ask if she would like Cuddles to stand. Cyborg nods her head and Finney stands up. Cyborg charges and Finney gets floored again. Finney is turtled up and Cyborg unloads some big knees to the body. Finney rolls to her back and Cyborg continues the onslaught. Finney turns to a crawling position now and Cyborg keeps punching away. The referee is screaming about punches to the back of her head and now she steps in and calls for a timeout. She takes a point from Cyborg, and we get back to it after a small break. Finney is one tough ass chick! Cyborg jumps on her right away and drives her into the cage. Nice knees from here. She punches out and there's a big exchange. Finney is throwing blow for blow here, but Cyborg finally gets the best of it and Cuddles is back to the floor. Cyborg with more punches. I have no idea how Finney is still in this fight. Finney is turtled up and not doing much of anything, but Cyborg can't put her away. Finney grabs Cyborg's leg for dear life, but Cyborg continues to punch away. This referee should think about stopping the fight, but the bell sounds and the round is over.

Round two: Big exchange right away and Finney is going for broke. She backs off now and Cyborg unloads with some jabs and a flurry of punches. Finney is back on the floor and Cyborg is standing over her landing punches. Another stand up by the referee and Finney stands toe to toe with Cyborg again and exchanges some big blows. Wow! Back into the clinch and Cyborg is breathing really heavy. Cyborg with Finney's back against the cage and she tees off with a fee more punches before going back into the clinch. After a lull the referee calls for a separation, and Finney once again decides to trade in the center of the cage with the champion. Finney moving forward with jabs now. Cyborg catches her again and follows it up with a big knee to the body. Finney crumbles, and finally the referee ends the madness. Dominating win for the champ, but Finney hung tough and showed a ton of heart.

Final result: Cristiane Santos defeats Jan Finney via technical knockout (strikes) at 2:56 of round two

155 lbs.: Pat "Bam Bam" Healy vs. Josh "The Punk" Thomson

Round one: Gloves touch and we're underway. Healy takes the center of the cage and Thomson clinches and pushes away. They circle and Thomson sccops Healy up and slams him into the mat. Healy pops back up and they're in the clinch with Thomson's back against the fence. Nice knees from Healy. Healy grabs for a leg. Thomson pushes him off and now he has his back on the ground. Very nice. He's looking for an armbar now, but Healy is defending it well. Thomson cranks it and Healy looks to be in trouble. Somehow he turns out of the hold and now he's on top of Thomson, but The Punk transitions right into a triangle. He doesn't have it locked in and now he's looking for the arm again. Healy is finally free and Thomson is working from full guard. Back to his feet now, but Healy is latched onto his back. Healy slams him back to the floor, keeping Thomson's back. He's looking for the choke now, but Thomson scrambles and he's looking for a heel hook. They stand, but Healy goes right for Thomson's leg and works him back to the mat. Thomson pops right back up, but Healy is all over him with another clinch. Another nice tossing takedown for Healy, but Thomson lands in the top position. Both fighters work for position as the bell sounds. 10-9 Thomson.

Round two: Healy takes the center again as Thomson circles away. Healy with a clinch attempt, but Thomson shrugs it off and lands a nice punch in the process. Healy scores now on a quick double leg takedown. Thomson scrambles, but Healy takes his back. Thomson is in a bad position here. Healy has both his hooks in and he's landing punches now, working for the rear naked choke. Thomson turns and now he's on his back with Healy on top raining down elbows and punches from half guard. Thomson gets full guard now, but Healy continues to work punches. Thomson gets back to his feet, but Healy slams him back down right away. Thomson looking for an armbar, but Healy is having none of that. Healy now looking for a leg lock while Thomson unloads a few hard elbows into his thigh. Thomson transitions again into an armbar attempt. Healy's arm looks all bent up for a moment, but he escpaes the hold and is back on top in Thomson's closed guard looking to land punches. Thomson landing some punches from his back, but Healy is landing a lot more from his position. The round ends there and that was a big one for Bam Bam. The first round was close, The Punk needs to make something happen in round three or he may be in trouble.

Round three: Healy backs Thomson up right away, but The Punk circles and lands a nice shot. Healy shoots, but Thomson shoves him off. Nice jab lands from Thomson. Healy answers with one of his own. Push kick from Thomson finds a home. Healy goes right for a clinch after that, but Thomson pushes away and they keep their distance. Hard right hand lands for Thomson, but he's not throwing many combos here, mostly just one punch and then circle out. Healy continues to walk him down and now he gets another clinch. Thomson gets away, but Healy comes right back at him, leading with his jab, and he scores a double leg takedown. Thomson gives up his back momentarily before reversing nicely to gain the top position in a north-south. Both fighters look tired here and Thomson isn't doing much but holding on. Now he has Healy's back. Now a body lock. Healy stands and he tries to slam Thomson's head into the mat to get him off his back, but all that does is deepen the choke hold for Thomson. He's under the chin and he's squeezing hard. Healy is trying to fight it off, but there's too much time remaining and he has no choice but to tap out. Submission win for The Punk.

Final result: Josh Thomson defeats Pat Healy via submission (rear naked choke) at 4:27 of round three
