Spike TV once again offered mixed martial arts fans a look at select preliminary bouts when it aired some live under card action of UFC 115: "Liddell vs. Franklin" on June 12 from the GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

The cable network's officials today announced that the two-fight broadcast was viewed by 1.5 million fans, making it the third most watched prelims show along with UFC 108's version.

UFC lightweight stars Mac Danzig and Matt Wiman fought to a rather underwhelming conclusion as "Handsome" was awarded the submission victory even though Mac didn't, well, submit.

And the 155-pound scrap between Evan Dunham and Tyson Griffin displayed great back and forth action while seeing Dunham officially emerge as one of the UFC's brightest young stars.

UFC 115 of course featured a reworked main event of Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 11 coaches Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell and Rich "Ace" Franklin, a fight that very well may have signaled the end of Liddell's illustrious career.
