UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio "Shogun" Rua has once again had surgery to repair a damaged knee, according to company president, Dana White (via MMAWeekly.com).
The latest setback will likely postpone his yet-to-be-announced first title defense against former 205-pound division kingpin, and current number one contender, Rashad Evans, later this year.
Here's a snip:
"He had the surgery in L.A. He’s gonna do all his therapy in Vegas. So he’s gonna be in Vegas for the next five weeks. He needed (surgery) after the fight. He got hurt in the fight."
