UFC 118: Nick Osipczak vs Greg Soto signed for Boston on August 28

A welterweight match up between Nick Osipczak and Greg Soto has been signed for UFC 118, which is set to take place on August 28 in Boston, Massachusetts.

Soto tweeted the news yesterday.

Osipczak, a semi-finalist on The Ultimate Fighter 9, has gone 2-1 in the UFC since leaving the TUF house. Nick defeated fellow TUF 9 competitor Frank Lester at The Ultimate Fight 9 Finale and finished the rugged Matt Riddle via technical knockout in the third round of their bout at UFC 105: "Couture vs. Vera" last November.

The Team Rough House product will be looking to run his overall record to 6-1 with a win over Soto this August.

Greg Soto, a Team Pellegrino fighter, made his UFC debut earlier this year at UFC 111: "St. Pierre vs. Hardy" where he was disqualified due to an illegal upkick against the aforementioned Riddle.

The New York native and New Jersey State Police officer in training had been undefeated, going 7-0, prior to that loss.

UFC 118 is shaping up to be a sick (insert Boston accent here) card. Expected to be headlined by a rematch for the lightweight title between B.J. Penn and Frankie Edgar, UFC's Boston debut will also feature Kenny Florian vs. Gray Maynard and Randy Couture vs. James Toney.
