"This feels great, man. I’m back. Mariusz Pudzianowski is one helluva tough guy. This provides me with an opportunity to get another big fight, hopefully in three months. It didn’t go as I had planned. I thought I’d knock him out in the first round but I was a little cautious. My corner told me after the first round I could do anything because he was gassed. Once he failed on the takedowns, I knew I had him."
Former UFC champion Tim Sylva talks about picking up a must-win over "The World's Strongest Man," Mariusz Pudzianowski, last night at the DCU Center in Worcester, Mass., in the Moosin: "God of Martial Arts" main event. It marked back-to-back wins for "The Maine-iac" for the first time in more than three years. But does a win over the over-sized, and incredibly inexperienced, Pudzianowski, get Sylvia "back" to competing against bigger names in bigger promotions? Or is he, and the fans, better off on the freak show circuit taking on the likes of the "Dominator" and Ray Mercer?
