Unlike his last couple of fights, this is one decision that Tito Ortiz won't be leaving in the hands of the judges.
"The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" escaped criminal prosecution for felony domestic violence today after the Orange County District Attorney rejected his case based on "insufficient corroboration to prove beyond reasonable doubt that he attacked his girlfriend Jenna Jameson."
TMZ passed along the not-so-surprising news earlier today.
Ortiz and Jameson were photographed as recently as Mother's Day, where the reconciled couple were seen hanging out at the beach with their children.
The district's decision not to move forward with prosecution likely stems from Jameson's inability to stick with her story regarding the domestic incident that took place at their house on April 26, for which Ortiz was arrested and taken into custody.
There was a lot of he said/she said following the arrest.
Jameson alleged he beat the crap out of her. Ortiz claimed she was addicted to Oxycontin. Both eventually retracted those statements (and the ex-porn star subsequently tested negative for drugs).
Apparently it was all just a big misunderstanding. One that happened to involve a lot of police. Anyway, they're back together and reportedly working through their differences.
Who said there's no such thing as a happy ending?
