Spike TV will once again offer mixed martial arts fans a look at select preliminary bouts when it airs live under card action from the upcoming UFC 115: "Liddell vs. Franklin" pay-per-view on June 12 from the GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
UFC lightweight stars Mac Danzig and Matt Wiman will bring their bout to the airwaves alongside the 155-pound scrap between Evan Dunham and Tyson Griffin. The action begins with limited-commercial interruption at 9 p.m. ET on Spike.
For longevity's sake, hopefully the televised prelims for UFC 115 will outperform the televised portion of UFC 111 and the 1.2 million viewers it garnered -- an all-time low for the series since its 2009 debut.
UFC 115 will feature a reworked main event of Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 11 coaches Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell and Rich "Ace" Franklin as well as a main card bout between Pat "Get Hype" Barry and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic.
