Quoteworthy:

"I don't think it was a factor. I was ready. I felt alright, you know, I was prepared and ready to go. Felt good, man. I don't know. I have to watch the tape. I haven't really analyzed it. But I felt good, I got hit and I went down, I was hurt and that has never happened before. So, I don't know, I'll have to regroup, see what went wrong and move on... I don't think I'll be on the next one [WEC 49], but I don't want to wait six months [to fight again] either."

Former WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown talks about Dana White's recent claims that he had been battling personal problems, and as a result, wasn't his normal self inside the cage last Saturday night against Manny Gamburyan at WEC 48: "Aldo vs. Faber." While not exactly denying the reports that suggested he had some personal troubles in the lead up to his fight with "Manvel," he does make it a point to say that whatever he was going through, if anything at all, played no role in his lackluster performance. So, what do we see next for Brown? He obviously would like to get back in there ASAP, anyone care to prognosticate?
