WEC 47 weigh in results information for 'Bowles vs Cruz' on March 5


The official weigh-in event for WEC 47: "Bowles vs. Cruz" is set to take place at the Greater Columbus Convention Center (Exhibit Hall C) in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday, March 5.

It is currently scheduled to air LIVE right here on, as well as on several other online destinations, via streaming video. The first fighter is expected to tip the scale at 5 p.m. ET.

As usual, will provide the latest coverage of the WEC 47 weigh-ins, as well as provide a detailed recap of the festivities as soon as they conclude.

WEC 47 will feature a bantamweight title fight between newly crowned division champion Brian Bowles as he defends his belt for the first time against the 14-1 Dominick Cruz. In addition, former 135-pound champion Miguel Torres will begin his climb back to the top of the weight class by taking on top division prospect Joseph Benavidez.

WEC stars Jens Pulver, Leonard Garcia and L.C. Davis are also scheduled to compete.

For those fortunate enough to be checking out the Arnold Sports Festival (ASF) during the promotion’s debut trip to Columbus, remember that the weigh-in is FREE to attend and open to the public. Doors to the weigh-in will open at 3 p.m. ET for those attending the ASF.

In addition, fans will be able to attend a special Q&A session with WEC stars Urijah Faber and Donald Cerrone from 3:30-4:30 p.m. ET. will provide LIVE blow-by-blow, round-by-round coverage of WEC 47, beginning with the Versus Network telecast at 10 p.m. ET. In addition, we will deliver up-to-the-minute quick results of all the under card action much earlier on fight night.
