Gentlemen, this one's for the ladies.
Strikeforce today put the finishing touches on its upcoming "Challengers" event from the San Jose Civic Auditorium this Friday (Feb. 26) featuring undefeated power puncher Sarah Kaufman (10-0) taking on Japan's dangerous Takayo Hashi (12-1) in the first ever Strikeforce Women's World Bantamweight championship match-up.
The Kaufman vs. Hashi bout will serve as the card's main event.
Strikeforce will also put its partnership with M-1 Global to good use when highly touted M-1 prospect Karl "Psycho" Amoussou (11-2-1) challenges well-traveled veteran Trevor Prangley (22-5) in a middleweight affair. Action is expected to get underway live on Showtime beginning at 11 p.m. ET.
