Programming alert: 'Countdown to UFC 111' debuts on Spike TV March 17

Countdown to UFC 111: "St. Pierre vs. Hardy" will debut Wednesday, March 17 at 10:30 p.m. ET on Spike TV to promote the upcoming pay-per-view (PPV) event scheduled for the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Saturday, March 27.

The network special will provide a glimpse into the preparation and training camps of the fighters set to headline the show, featuring current UFC welterweight champion Georges "Rush" St. Pierre and number one contender Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy.

For those who miss the "Countdown to UFC 111" premier it will re-air at the following times:

March 19 at 11 p.m. ET
March 25 at 2 a.m. ET
March 26 at 12:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. ET
March 27 at 2:30 p.m. ET
