"I want to fight Brock Lesnar. I hate who he is as a person. I want to break his neck in the ring. I want him to be the first person that dies to Octagon-related injuries."
-- Former heavyweight champion Frank Mir tells WXDX radio (via FightOpinion.com) about how he would like his trilogy match with current division kingpin, Brock Lesnar, to end if and when it does take place. Mir stopped Lesnar with a knee bar in their first encounter and then lost via second round technical knockout in the rematch. Lesnar is still recovering from a serious intestinal medical condition, which will keep him on the sidelines until summer 2010. Meanwhile, Mir will battle Shane Carwin for the interim heavyweight title at UFC 111 in Newark, N.J., on March 27. Is Mir taking his fascination with Lesnar too far? Will his obsession with Lesnar catapult him to victory over Carwin or is he putting the cart before the horse and not giving Carwin the attention he deserves? Sound off, Maniacs.
