TUF 12 Finale results: Stephan Bonnar takes unanimous decison over Igor Pokrajac

In an aggressive but still somewhat plodding affair, Stephan Bonnar took a unanimous decision win over Igor Pokrajac in the co-main event of the evening.

Pokrajac came out with shots in the early going and clearly thought he could get the better of Bonnar if he came forward with big punches. "The American Psycho" had other plans and ducked underneath for a takedown.

Once he took it to the mat, he went to work.

Although UFC color commentator Joe Rogan likes to say it a lot, Stephan Bonnar may truly have an underrated ground game, if only because we don't see it often.

We certainly saw plenty in this one.

Bonnar controlled the rest of the first and easily took the round. The second frame was largely the same. Pokrajac would push forward with punches and Bonnar would backpedal before taking it to the floor and working his submission game.

The third round opened with a takedown and once again it was all about control. There was a slight bit of controversy to end the fight with referee Steve Mazzagatti taking a point away from Bonnar in the closing seconds due to shots to the back of the head.

It didn't matter.

Bonnar is now officially on a winning streak -- of two in a row.
