Some match-ups make too much sense not to make.

One of those fights is apparently going to happen in March of 2011, potentially at UFC Fight Night 24 in Seattle on March 30, as Dan Hardy will reportedly take on Anthony Johnson, according to MMAFighting.com.

Hardy hasn't been seen since Carlos Condit put his lights out back on Oct. 16 at UFC 120. That was of course, his return fight after his unanimous decision beatdown at the hands of Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre.

Dropping three in a row is usually the kiss of death in the UFC, so you can bet "The Outlaw" will show up ready to "Rumble" early next year.

If it seems like you haven't seen Anthony Johnson for a while, it's because you haven't. The last time he was in the cage was November of 2009 -- a losing effort against Josh Koscheck.

After some injuries and a balloon up in weight, speculation was rampant that "Rumble" would move up to middleweight, a class better suited for his large frame.

It appears those rumors were just that and he will return to 170-pounds to go toe-to-toe with another striker in what should be an exciting clash of styles.

Although rumored for March of 2011, there is no word yet on what date these two will hook-em-up. The UFC has plans to hold three events that month and it's being reported the most likely to hold this fight is the March 30 show in Seattle.

Fight Night 24 is set to be headlined with a light-heavyweight clash between Tito Ortiz and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
