HDNet has officially announced they will air FieLDS Dynamite!! 2010 live on Dec. 31 starting at 4 a.m. ET from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
Much of the coverage surrounding the event has centered on the fact that the "Demolition Man" Alistair Overeem will, in fact, compete at the event. The only question is against who.
Initially rumored to be Bobby Lashley, his opponent has been all but confirmed by Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG) to be UFC flame-out Todd Duffee.
There are plenty of intriguing match-ups actually confirmed for the card including Shinya Aoki vs Yuichiro Nagashima in an MMA/K-1 Mixed Rules bout, Marius Zaromskis vs Kazushi Sakuraba and Tatsuya Kawajiri vs Josh Thomson.
Even "The Beast" Bob Sapp is all set to appear.
