Dominick Cruz: 'I'm in there trying to kill the guy from beginning to end'

Quoteworthy:

"I won a lot of fights this way, so I know what I'm doing. I know what I do right, I know what I do well and I know I'm very good at it. That gives me my confidence to continue to fight the way that I fight. I'm in there trying to finish every single fight, I'm in there trying to kill the guy from beginning to end. I think everybody that I've gone in there with I've rocked or hurt at some point in the fight, without a doubt."

WEC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz doesn't agree with Scott Jorgensen's recent assessment of his offense, which "Young Guns" described as "defensive" and "ineffective." Since his only career defeat at the hands of Urijah Faber at WEC 26, Cruz has won seven straight fights but only secured stoppages on two occasions. Is Jorgensen going to have a better chance to usurp the title if Cruz is unable to finish him? Or will the champion bring his belt with him to the UFC when the two promotions merge next month?
