Fighting and Entertainment Group's (FEG) K-1 promotion blew up Ariake Coliseum earlier this morning (Dec. 11) featuring its "World Grand Prix Finals" in Tokyo, Japan.

Mixed Martial Arts fans had one horse-sized reason to be interested in this one -- the participation of world renowned kickboxer and current Strikeforce Heavyweight Champion Alistair Overeem. And "The Reem" did not disappoint.

Although a potential dream match-up pitting "The Demolition Man" against five-time World Grand Prix Champion Semmy Schilt in the finals never materialized, it was an exciting night of fights nonetheless and "Ubereem" was nothing less than dominant, as our friends at Head Kick Legend illustrate:

Aerts was reeling on the ropes when the ref peeled the Demolition Man off of him when he collapsed, causing the referee to call the bout and award Alistair Overeem his first K-1 World Grand Prix Championship, making him a two-sport combat sports champion. The only of his kind.
