And tells LowKick.com that he's agreed to cough up 20-percent of his purse to opponent Daniel Tabera:
"I'm a professional fighter. What happened today was a result of many factors, but after all it's me who did a mistake, and I have to pay for it. I didn't have to do it, but I felt that it's not Daniel's fault. He prepared to fight a Light Heavyweight, so I have to compensate him."
IFC officials have not released the numbers but insist that all fighters are on weight for tomorrow's card with the exception of Rodriguez.
