Strikeforce: Benji Radach vs Ovince St. Preux official for 'Henderson vs Babalu' on Dec. 4

Fast rising light heavyweight prospect Ovince St. Preux, fresh off a unanimous decision win over Antwain Britt less than two weeks ago at Strikeforce Challengers 12, will strap on the gloves once again to battle Benji Radach at the upcoming "Henderson vs. Babalu" event on Dec. 4 in St. Louis.

Radach was gunning for a possible bout with Lucas Lopes after Herschel Walker withdrew from Saturday's Showtime-televised card due to injury; however, the promotion has instead matched him up with the former University of Tennessee linebacker, who is the winner of five consecutive fights with four (T)KO finishes.

While both competitors are stepping in on short notice, Radach will likely have the more difficult adjustment. "Razor" has not competed since a stunning knockout loss to Scott Smith at Strikeforce: "Shamrock vs. Diaz" way back in April 2009 and is moving up in weight (from his usual 185-pounds) to participate on the Dec. 4 card.

And don't expect any accommodations from St. Preux.

"Everything is going good now but, the more I win, the harder I know I have to work. I fought some tough guys early in my career because it didn't matter to me who I fought. Looking back, I probably should have won all those fights. But I'm not mad because I learned so much from each of them.''

Will Radach join his ever-growing list of casualties?

"Henderson vs. Babalu" will feature a light heavyweight rematch between longtime veterans of the sport, Dan Henderson and Renato Sobral. "Hendo" defeated "Babalu" via majority decision under the RINGS banner way back in 1999.

Also strapping on the gloves will be Scott Smith, as "Hands of Steel" makes his welterweight debut against hard-hitting British banger Paul "Semtex" Daley.
