"He's a professional - he's been fighting for a long time and he's not just looking to go in there and out-wrestle me the whole time, I believe. I think he's going to go out there and be smart, throw some punches and look to clinch. But I don't think he'll be in any hurry to take me down. He'll take his time, and when the opportunity presents itself I think he'll look to close the distance and then take me down. But I don't think he's too worried - he's trained hard, and he'll be ready. ... I'll just be a better fighter this time around. I'll be faster, I'll be stronger - I've been working really hard."
-- Robbie Lawler (via MMA Fighting) feels good about fighting for a third time in 2010 looks to close out the year with a win over Matt Lindland at Strikeforce: "Henderson vs Babalu" which, according to Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker, will catapult him into the middleweight title picture. After an incredible come-from-behind knockout of Melvin Manhoef back in January, Lawler was outlasted by Renato "Babalu" Sobral at Strikeforce: "Los Angeles" to drive his record to a mediocre 2-2 in his last four fights. A veteran of 26 professional fights, Lawler is just 28 years of age and he thinks his best days are ahead of him. What do you think we'll see come Dec. 4? Will he fight the "Law" and lose? Or are we in for yet another "Ruthless" knockout? Predictions, please.
