And he wants a rematch with Nate Marquardt.

"We've signed a new contract for Toquinho today, he'll fight four more times, it's renewed and we are on the expectations to know about his next fight. He's very motivated, he know that he let the victory escape, he made a mistake, but these things happen in life, but he's crazy to fight Nate again. He wants this fight pretty bad and he's training for it. Rousimar is conditioned and training every day as if he had a fight schedules. Our expectations are the best possible ones and I'm sure that Toquinho and these new guys from BTT will bring the Brazilians many reasons to be happy."

Murilo Bustamante  tells Tatame that his protege, Rousimar Palhares, has signed a new four fight contract with the UFC and he's "crazy" to earn a rematch with Nate Marquardt. The two originally fought at UFC Fight Night 22 and it was an ugly fight for "Toquinho." After securing a heel hook that Marquardt was able to immediately slip out of, Palhares looked to his corner in protest of how easy it was for Nate to slide out. While he was looking away, Marquardt took advantage of a "Great" opportunity and finished the submission specialist with a barrage of punches. A greasing controversy was avoided when Marquardt was checked by the referee, the commission and the cageside physician and declared clean but Palhares wants another chance to prove he can defeat the perennial middleweight contender. Is that a fight you would like to see again? Could "Toquinho" finish what he started on Sep. 15?
