UFC 122: "Marquardt vs. Okami," which marked the return to Germany for the Zuffa-owned promotion, reeled in an average of 2.2 million viewers on Spike TV, according to figures released from the cable television network earlier today.

The tape-delayed broadcast drew a 1.4 household rating, a 2.0 rating in the Male 18-49 demographic and a 2.16 in the Male 18-34 demo.

By comparison, UFC 120: "Bisping vs. Akiyama" was viewed by an average of 1.9 million fight fans just last month while the UFC Fight Night 22: "Marquardt vs. Palhares" Spike TV telecast scored an average of 1.6 million viewers back in September.

"Marquardt vs. Okami," featuring a headlining bout between division contenders Nate Marquardt and Yushin Okami, saw the two middleweights slug it out for three rounds which "Thunder" eventually took on all three judge's scorecards.

And that win was good enough to guarantee him a shot at the winner of Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort, who square off for "The Spider's" middleweight title in February.
