Quoteworthy:

"Strikeforce wants me to return in March against Fedor [Emelianenko] or [Alistair] Overeem, but I'm looking forward to having a fight before that one. I don’t have an exclusive contract with Strikeforce, only for the U.S., and I got a nice proposal in Abu Dhabi and another one in Japan. I've got my last professional commitment in New York. By next week, I'll be back helping 'Babalu' and Fernando Bettega who will fight for Strikeforce on Dec. 4. My arm is 100 percent now and I feel that by February, I'll be ready to fight in Abu Dhabi or Japan."

After turning the MMA world upside down with his shocking submission win over Fedor Emelianenko, Strikeforce heavyweight Fabricio Werdum has been recuperating from elbow surgery and teaching jiu-jitsu seminars. Now, "Vai Cavalo" looks to get back into the title mix for the San Jose based promotion against "The Last Emperor" or division champion Alistair Overeem -- right after his overseas tune up fight in Feb. 2011. Does a loss outside of Strikeforce jeopardize his standing? Or better prepare him for his return? And who would you rather see the Brazilian face when he returns to U.S. MMA, Emelianenko or "Demolition Man?"
