The hometown crowd got exactly what they wanted in this one.

After a few decisions to open the main card, Dennis Siver came out determined to put in a strong performance for his home country. He did exactly that by landing a big counter left hand before securing a fight ending rear naked choke that Andre Winner tapped to in the first round.

Both fighters opened with leg kicks and had no problem exchanging punches with each other. Siver ducked under and shot for a single but quickly let it go in favor of resetting to throw hands.

Good idea.

After landing the big left hook that Winner waded into, Siver tried to finish the fight with big punches on the ground. When the ref didn't call it, he quickly took the back of the rocked Brit and sunk in a modified rear naked choke and sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Siver has now won two in a row and has lost just one time in two years. Winner drops his second straight and is now 2-3 with the UFC.
