Countdown to UFC 106: "Ortiz vs. Griffin 2" will debut tonight (Nov. 16) at 12:30 a.m. ET (Monday night into Tuesday morning) on Spike TV to promote the upcoming pay-per-view event scheduled for the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Nov. 21.
The 30-minute special presentation will provide a glimpse into the preparation and training camps of the fighters set to headline the show: Former light heavyweight champions Tito "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Ortiz and Forrest Griffin.
Ortiz and Griffin were promoted to main event status to fill the gaping void left by UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, who was forced to withdraw from his pending title defense against Shane Carwin because of a serious illness.
For those who miss tonight’s "Countdown to UFC 106″ premier it will re-air on Friday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. ET and then again on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m. ET.
