Strikeforce: "Destruction" took place at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Calif., on Friday, November 21, 2008.
In the main event of the evening, former Elite XC number one 185-pound contender Scott "Hands of Steel" Smith lived up to his nickname, knocking out knockout artist Terry Martin cold just 24 seconds into their middleweight scrap.
And in the co-main event of the evening talented Brazilian jiu-jitsu player Renato "Babalu" Sobral carved up Bobby Southworth with a vicious elbow to capture the promotion's 205-pound title.
