PRIDE veteran Alistair "Demolition Man" Overeem (26-11) will return to Japan to face Team Aegis competitor Tae Hyun Lee (1-1) at the DREAM 4 event on June 15th at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan according to the official DREAM Web site.
Overeem last competed at Strikeforce in 2007 where he pummeled UFC veteran Paul "The Headhunter" Buentello En route to a second round TKO stoppage. Overeem had mixed results in his PRIDE days (7-7) but has the kind of power-striking that can end a fight at any time.
Lee, on the other hand, is relatively new to the sport with just two professional bouts. His last match was a TKO victory over the 13-23 Yoshihisa Yamamoto at K-1 Olympia Hero's but prior to that he was stopped in the first round at PRIDE: Final Conflict Absolute by Ricardo "The Mutant" Morais.
Also added to the card is the light heavyweight bout of Alavutdin Gadzhiyev (7-1) vs. Alexandre "Cacareco" Ferreira (16-5). Both fighters are coming off first round victories and it will be interesting to see if the heavy-handed Russian can deal with Cacareco's "Luta Livre" - the Brazilian has 15 of his 16 wins come by way of submission.
DREAM 4 is headlined by a special grappling match between former UFC and PRIDE competitor Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic (23-6-2), who will be testing his grappling chops against submission guru Ralek Gracie (1-0).
