That's not a typo.
Apparently Elite XC heavyweight Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson doesn't have enough fans, and he's looking to add more from another genre tonight as he makes an appearance as a presenter at the 43rd annual Academy of Country Music Awards (CMAs), according to SportsIlustrated.com.
The awards show will air tonight (Sunday) at 8 p.m. ET and run through 11 p.m. ET.
I'm not one to stereotype people, but I would have never pinned Kimbo for a country music fan. I wonder if he'll be fully equipped with an oversized belt buckle, cowboy boots and a 10 gallon hat.
That's doubtful ... this appearance more than likely has more to do with both the awards show and Elite XC's next event being on CBS on May 31.
I wouldn't normally have any interest at all in the CMAs, but Kimbo certainly adds a little bit of appeal. This could actually be worth a watch ... for a few seconds.
The show will be hosted for the 10th time by country music superstar Reba McEntire. Other stars expected to be performing are Trace Adkins, Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry and Miranda Lambert.
There's no word on whether or not the aesthetic Elite XC dance troupe will join him on stage.
