Hello, maniacs ... this is Jason Day. I'm going to chronicle my training and preparation right here at MMAmania.com for the biggest fight of my professional career against Michael Bisping at UFC 85: "Bedlam" in London, England, on June 7.
I am already back at it training hard for another shot in the UFC after two weeks off celebrating my first win inside the Octagon over Alan Belcher at UFC 83: "Serra vs. St. Pierre 2" on April 19. Chris Leben was forced to withdraw from the UFC 85 bout against Bisping, which created an amazing opportunity for me to get a shot at him in front of his hometown crowd.
The whole UFC experience has been a whirlwind for me -- I thought I would have more time to sort out my day job and training, but the fight with Bisping was too good to resist.
When I am not training or fighting I build houses full-time up here in Canada. I own a home building company with my parents and they have been very supportive by picking up the slack when I have to take off to train or fight.
In fact, I have changed up my routine a little for this fight, separating my conditioning and strength from my technical and sparring sessions. I take a two-hour lunch break so I can hit the gym and get my cardio and weights over earlier in the day, which leaves me more energy at nights to spar.
I have been in this sport for seven years now and it seems like yesterday I had my first fight at the Roadhouse Nightclub where I worked as a doorman. Lee Mein was the head doorman and he was the one who got me started in the sport and I continue to train with him at his gym today.
It has been a long road to the UFC and now that I am finally here everything seems to be happening so fast and I am loving it all the way.
Things are finally starting to come together and I look forward to putting on a great performance against Bisping in less than four weeks. I'm hungry ... and will be ready for the fight of my life on June 7.

Day is on a red hot five-fight win streak, which he will put on the line against "The Count" at UFC 85: "Bedlam" at the O2 Arena in London, England, on June 7.
