Thiago "Pitbull" Alves, coming off a big knockout win over Karo "The Heat" Parisyan at UFC Fight Night 13 earlier this month, will be in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to host a UFC 83: "Serra vs. St. Pierre 2" pay-per-view (PPV) viewing party at the Diesel Playhouse.
This special event is being put on by The Substance Group in association with Miller Genuine Draft, as well as a host of other sponsors.
Alves certainly cleaned up the mess at the top of the welterweight contenders list by taking out ‘The Heat' and will look to get a shot at the title -- Jon Fitch more than likely gets the next opportunity, taking on the winner of the main event this weekend sometime later this year.
