The well-known 11-bout line up for UFC 83: "Serra vs. St. Pierre 2" was today confirmed and finalized via UFC.com for the pay-per-view (PPV) event that is slated for the sold-out Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, on April 19.
It's the first ever show for the promotion in Canada and the fight card is packed with "local" talent. No one is more popular, however, than the Saint Isidore native and UFC interim welterweight champion, Georges St. Pierre.
"Rush" will be eager to avenge his loss to Matt Serra back in April 2007 and hoist the undisputed 170-pound belt toward the rafters before an extremely friendly crowd of thousands.
Meanwhile, Serra will look to play the role of spoiler—or "Rocky" if you ask him—and shock the MMA world once again with a win.
