Not all folks think like us, which is either a blessing or a curse.
In our ongoing mission to deliver our readers with the most up-to-date and reliable UFC news and information on the Web, we decided to solicit help from a select number of the top mixed martial arts (MMA) minds in the industry to share their thoughts and opinions on the best fighters in the UFC right now.
We felt it was important to incorporate these individual rankings with our own UFC Rankings to produce a result that is fair and objective.
Our contributors were chosen carefully because we value their work and contributions to the sport. And, as UFCmania continues to grow, we will look to expand the pool of contributors.
But, for now, we prefer to keep it small and intimate.
For one reason or another, there are a few writers who prefer to remain anonymous.
Those who we'd like to publicly thank are Dave Doyle from FOXSports.com, Miguel Lopez from the Long Beach Press Telegram and Steve Seivert from the Houston Chronicle, among others.
It's important to note that the final rankings do not reflect the individual thoughts or opinions of the individuals mentioned above. We merged their rankings with our own to calculate a final result.
Finally, apologies for the delay in updating the rankings — the information gathering and calculating took longer than expected.
