The tentatively scheduled UFC Fight Night 9 on March 13 is no longer tentatively scheduled, according to MMAWeekly.com.
In fact, it is no longer taking place.
If an event was never officially confirmed, and it doesn't pan out, was it really ever an event?
Well, unfortunately, we reported it here so that means that several posts contained incorrect information. I've gone back and corrected them, but there still is a problem with some of the tags.
That's nothing you need to be concerned about and I'm probably saying too much — less is more in this case.
All you need to know is that UFC Fight Night 9 will now take place on April 5 — not UFC Fight Night 10 as reported earlier. It will air at 8 p.m. and lead in to the season premiere of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 5 at 10 p.m.
Here is the rumored fight card so far for the Spike TV event:
155 lb. Kenny Florian (4-3) vs. Dokonjonosuke Mishima (17-5-2)
170 lb. Josh Koscheck (8-1) vs. TBA
185 lb. Kendall Grove (7-3) vs. TBA
205 lb. Wilson Gouveia (7-4) vs. Hector Ramirez (6-2-1)
170 lb. Luke Cummo (4-4) vs. Josh Haynes (7-7)
Sorry for the confusion. Let me know if you have any questions.
