Two finalists from different seasons of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) will clash at UFC Fight Night 9 on April 5 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to TUF 2 alum Luke Cummo (4-4), he'll face the surprise contestant out of the TUF 3 cast, Josh Haynes (7-7).

Here's the snip from Cummo on MySpace:

My opponent: The Ultimate Fighter Season 3 veteran Josh Haynes

Both fighters will try to avoid falling below the .500 mark on their records, which is never a good thing in any sport.

For Cummo, he's looking to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Jonathan Goulet (16-7) at UFC Fight Night 5 back in June. He has one victory in the Octagon — one more than Haynes — against Jason Von Flue (12-7-1) at UFC Fight Night 4 since losing to Joe Stevenson (26-7) via unanimous decision at the TUF 2 Finale.

Haynes shocked most observers with his underdog performances on the TUF 3 reality show, beating Tait Fletcher (split decision) and Jesse Forbes (guillotine choke) to advance to the light heavyweight finals.

"Bring the Pain," however, couldn't stop eventual TUF 2 205-pound champion Michael Bisping in the finals, losing to "The Count" in round two because of strikes.

I'm not certain, but I'll assume that this is a welterweight (170 pound limit) match up. I can't see Cummo going up to 185. To be honest, I really can't see Haynes shedding any more weight, either — he was at one time a heavyweight.

Perhaps he's following in the footsteps of another legendary weightcutter, Joe Riggs. Haynes just better hope he has more luck than "Diesel."

I can't see the UFC keeping him around much longer if he doesn't start winning.
