Andrei Arlovski won't be the only "Pitbull" fighting on the UFC 66: "Liddell vs. Ortiz 2" super undercard on December 30.
Thiago Alves (9-3) has also been added, according to Tatame, and is scheduled to face fellow Brazilian Tony DeSouza (10-2).
(Tatame is a top Brazilian mixed martial arts magazine, which is the reason it is in Spanish).
Both fighters are coming off of nice wins at Ultimate Fight Night 7 back on October 10. Alves defeated John Alessio via unanimous decision and DeSouza forced Dustin Hazelett to tap out in round one thanks to a kimura.
This is a match up of two talented and experienced fighters, which is good to see so close to the "bottom" of a loaded fight card. Indeed, it looks like there isn't going to be a single filler bout the entire evening.
That's refreshing.
