UFC's Tito Ortiz falls in love

Jenna JamesonThere's something different about the third and final UFC light heavyweight showdown between Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock.

It's not the odds, training, trash talk or anything else that seemingly never dies between these two. Instead, it appears "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" has found love.

Yep, Tito Ortiz has professed his love for 32-year-old porn goddess Jenna Jameson.

Here's a snip from the Tampa Tribune:

"I can pretty much say I'm in love with her. I've never met anyone like her. She's an amazing person. Very strong-willed, outgoing person and her attitude is amazing. She's very articulate, smart and cunning."

Right, it's got nothing to do with her unrivaled prowess in the sack. Anywho ... there is a fight tomorrow night, which will hopefully be a little more interesting.

Indeed, all of Ortiz's blood, sweat, tears and time spent away from his sugar mama while he was up in Big Bear training for months won't mean squat if he can't get it done in the Octagon within 15 minutes on October 10.

He has already tenderized Shamrock twice, and this fight will be (God-willing) the final chapter of a saga that should have been history a long time ago.

Here's a snip from the same article:

"I hate Shamrock. He has a cocky attitude....This fight is our third and final chapter of our saga. It's something I want to get over with. I want to show the fans my last win wasn't a fluke, but something I worked my butt off for through hard work and dedication."

Amen.

But, it is mixed martial arts and in this sport anything can and sometimes does happen (go no further than Joe Lauzon over Jens Pulver at UFC 63).

Clearly, Shamrock is no longer "The World's Most Dangerous Man." When the 42-year-old stepped away from the sport back in 1996 to dabble in professional wrestling, he left behind a legacy and reputation that were Hall of Fame-worthy.

Now, it's a different story.

Shamrock's best days are well behind him. Meanwhile, Tito's best days are on the horizon.

The fight on SpikeTV tomorrow night is going to be a treat. Heck, just a few months ago most of us shelled out $40 smackers just to see a lame referee stoppage at 1:18 of the first round.

If that rematch told us anything, it was that Shamrock should not be in the Octagon with a guy like Tito. So here we are again: Take Three. Don't get the wrong idea ... we will not miss this fight, because a hall-of-famer will be in attendance.

Jenna Jameson, that is ... not Ken Shamrock.
