It looks like Chuck and Renato will have a little company come August 26.
According to a recent announcement on UFC.com:
"... four fighters will look to bounce back from recent losses in two match ups that are sure to get the crowd at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada roaring."
Specifically, Josh "The Dentist" Neer will square off against Thiago Alves in a welterweight contest. And, Wes Combs will take on Wilson Gouveia in a tough light heavyweight bout.
Also added to the card, but apparently nothing to write home about, light heavyweight newcomers Cory Walmsley and David Heath will get it on in the Octagon.
Here's recap of the losses in case you're wondering:
--Neer was on the wrong side of a decision to Josh Burkman at UFC 61 in July
--Alves was stopped by a submission in a June battle with the most talented fighter in the UFC that no one knows about, Jon Fitch
--Combs suffered his first loss in June to Mike Nickels via submission
--Gouveia lost a tough three round decision also in June to Keith Jardine
We'll continue to keep you posted of any more additions to the card or late scratches/additions.
